HCP promoted a working meeting on translational research

The HCP promoted a working meeting on the theme of translational research, which took place last 27 February in the Library of the Rectory of the University of Porto.

The objectives of the meeting were to discuss the current status of translational research / biomedical research in Portugal, identifying potential obstacles / threats to its development and suggesting ways of overcoming them.

The agenda included presentations by Dr. Maria João Teixeira de Queiroz (Eurotrials / HCP), Prof. José Cunha-Vaz (AIBILI), Prof. Willem van Meurs (INEB) and Prof. Miguel Castanho (IMM) and also Prof. Carl Borrebaeck, Director of the CREATE Health Center (University of Lund), an institution of reference in translational cancer research.
